Rihanna may be the rock-chic type of lady, but that doesn’t mean she always opts for tough-looking fashion designs. We normally see her sporting exquisite and kind of strange chanel  handbags though, but she still knows how to pull a fashionably look together.

She has proven it once again as she was spotted all geared up for a trip. Wearing her camo pants and denim jacket, you can clearly tell that she is indeed sporting a tough façade; yet carrying that Chanel Coco Cocoon Tote Bags somewhat softens her entirety. Aside from a subtle CC logo emblazoned on the handle, nothing about this bag screams Chanel bags–which is to be appreciated in these economic times.

Money aside, this lightweight nylon-and-lambskin bag, secured by a metal clasp on top, is as practical as it stylish: inner pockets galore, super soft handles, waterproof and easy to wipe down! (It also doubles as a fabulous pillow in case you were wondering).

If  Chanel handbags made the Cocoon in a larger messenger style, it would be the perfect diaper bag. The best part? For those days you want a more subtle approach, the Cocoon fully reverses to a subdued navy with red trim.

Before we go any further, does Chanel bags website make anyone else sort of dizzy and motion sick, or am I just way too sensitive to that sort of thing? Websites where brands make their bags run frantically from side to side make my head spin, and that website structure makes me find something else to look at almost immediately.

In this case, however, I persevered in order to find the Chanel Rubber Effect Python Signature Tote Bag . Was my nausea worth it? I think it was, but then again, I do have an unnatural affinity for everything black.

With all the high-class breeding of a pedigree pooch comes Chanel’s Sharpei Tote Bag.

The canine inspired moniker comes from the purse’s wrinkled sides. This ruched detail combines with the buttery soft lambskin to create a slouchy, relaxed style. It’s soft and feminine, but I’m still not entirely convinced. It looks like the purse could easily collapse in an unsightly puddle of leather once it’s set down. I think I’d have to test drive this one to decide whether it’s got enough structure to impress.

The shoulder straps haven’t helped to sway me. That silver really pops against the black leather, but anyone who’s ever carried such chunky chains knows they’re not comfortable. The leather plaiting will do nothing to cushion your shoulders when using this as an everyday carryall. These straps, and the extra chain near the bottom of the bag, are also bound to make an already big purse even heavier.

But Chanel handbags fans know they sometimes have to suffer a little for those designer looks. At least the design is practical, with a zippered pocket, two open pouches for gadgets, and a leash keychain inside. With its $3350 price tag though, I’m still not sure there’s enough positives here to win casual Chanel fans like me over.

Everyone beware. If you mess with Ashlee Simpson get ready to take sister, Jessica Simpson’s wrath. Some of you might have heard that Ashlee was recently dropped from the new Melrose Place. As soon as that happened Jessica went a twittering all about how pissed she was.

 I love to see that family loyalty, but I was a little bit shocked. Usually Jessica tries to keep quiet, but not this time. It looks like she comes from the school of “mess with my family, mess with me”. Actually, I can appreciate that.

Well, it looks like Ashlee is bouncing back. Or at least she knows how to put on a smile when it is needed. Here, Ashlee was seen house hunting in LA. I wonder if her family has outgrown their current digs and are looking to upgrade. Ohhhh – any chance she could be looking to have another baby anytime soon?

Alright, enough speculating. No matter what may or may not be going on, her look isn’t too shabby. Skinny jeans, slouchy boots, loose fitting tops, a scarf and a large Chanel Tote Bag. I love the Chanel bags and the boots, but the scarf, eh, it’s a bit much. It really isn’t that cold in LA right now. But hey, who am I to judge?
