CHANEL STRASS TWEED LEOPARD CLASSIC FLAP BAG FOR FALL

Chanel-Strass-and-Tweed-Leopard-Classic-Flap-Bag

At this point, if you don’t like leopard print, I feel kind of bad for you. It seems as though every brand under the sun, from high-end to low-end and everything in between, has released some sort of leopard chanel handbags for fall. The trend is inescapable, which is great if you’re like me and you already had a pair of glittery silver and black leopard leggings left over from last year. Yeah, I said it.

If I had an extra four grand laying around, this Chanel Strass Tweed Leopard Classic Flap Bag would be the perfect compliment to my admittedly tacky-but-fun leggings. Or to a black dress of any sort. Or any outfit, really.

I don’t adore the actuality of this chanel bags, but the idea is wonderful. The scale of the leopard print needs to be a bit smaller for the bag since it’s rendered in separate crystals and not a solid color, and the combination of the size and material makes the end result a bit awkward. It wouldn’t need to be much smaller – just a tad.

But for the price, I’d want it to be absolutely perfect not to mention made of leather instead of tweed Buy through Chanel Bag for $4000. For more purchasing information and assistance locating this bag, please contact Chanel bags store

CHANEL PARIS-SHANGHAI METIERS D’ ART 2010 COLLECTION

Presenting the pre-fall Chanel Paris-Shanghai Métiers d’Art 2010 collection, an opulent tribute to China’s history and culture. A collection that’s only possible after Chanel’s acquisition in 2002 of the seven specialist Parisian ateliers which include the metal-crafts house of Desrues; the feather-maker, Lemarié; the embroiderer, Lesage; the shoemaker, Massaro; the milliner, Michel; the goldsmith, Goossens; and the flower-maker, Guillet. Together, their traditional artistry is preserved, working closely with Chanel handbags to execute Karl Lagerfeld’s designs, with a unique seasonal collection year after year.

This year , Chanel Bags presented a colossal collection that saw intense attention to detail that rivalled the rich, extravagant opulence of the old imperial courts. References to Chinese arts and culture were fully represented, from the colour of lacquer red to Chinese knots, antique chest hinges to the burnished hue of tarnished bronze, it was  truly a feast for the senses.

The chanel bags and accessories were no different, precious museum-quality pieces sent down the runway. The Chanel Classic Flap 2.55 were reinterpreted and came in a multitude of exquisite finishes, including a clutch with dragon scales in jade green, rich brocade quilted bags and then some embellished with glittering sequins that sparkled to a bygone era that has passed but is not forgotten

FREJA BEHA ERCHSEN CARRIES CLASSIC CHANEL FLAP BAG

As they say, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. I guess if you’re going to hang out with Karl Lagerfeld and be one of his muses, wearing Chanel Bags here and there is sort of…expected.

Of course, one of the advantages to being one of the world’s biggest models and a muse of the world’s biggest designer is that Freja Beha Erichsen probably got that Chanel Classic Flap Bag for free. Just think of all the awesome stuff she probably gets…of course, she probably looks better in it than almost anyone on earth.

Supermodels tend to. I may be a little bit biased toward her brunette tomboy look, but Freja is one of my favorite models out there and I hope that she stays in Karl’s good graces for a long time to come.

CHANEL BAGS REVIEW:THE RED DOUBLE FLAP TOP HANDLE BAG

chanel_double_flap_top_handle_bag

How adorable is this Chanel bag? It’s very rare that I like a classic quilted Chanel handbags beyond the timeless 2.55–so you can imagine my delight when I spied this jewel in the Chanel preview.

It reminds me of that trend back in the late Nineties when women, particularly in Washington D.C. for some reason, would buy a smaller chanel 2.55 and piggy back it on top of a larger quilted tote I distinctly remember seeing this in an old issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Anyhow, this bag is like the best of both worlds!

The double flap top on either side guarantees this chanel bags is roomy while the center top handle and reinforced chain shoulder strap ensure options, options, options! I love it in this red! And let’s face it: the price is reasonable for Chanel. Simply put, it’s a lot of bag for the money. $3,325

CHANEL HAS GONE EXOTIC WITH REISSUE 2.55 ALLIAGATOR FLAP BAG

chanel-255-reissue-alligator-flap-bag

We’re used to seeing  Chanel handbags that comes quilted in black and has gold-tone hardware to accompany a luxurious look. That being said, I am surprised upon seeing this Chanel Reissue 2.55 Alligator Flap Bag, which is a more exotic version of the classic 2.55 purse.

This Chanel Reissue 2.55 Alligator Flap Bag is totally far from the usual 2.55 purse, since obviously, it doesn’t have the quilted design and it does not come in black. Rather, this bag is made from alligator skin, and I just love how it combines bluish shade with grey perfectly. Having such texture alone is enough to make this bag brilliant and definitely eye catching and luxurious. It also doesn’t have the double C logo that we usually see on most of Chanel’s bag designs, but still, looking at it already screams luxury and it doesn’t need to have anymore labeling.

This Chanel bags then comes in the classic rectangular shape, and it opens through brass tone hardware on the front flap. The gorgeous chain strap as well looks interesting, though it is still different from other Chanel bags with leather and chain handles.

This Chanel 2.55 Bag is actually part of the brand’s pre-spring 2010 collection, and based on its design, it would probably go for about $20,000 to $30,000.
